Overhauling a component involves dismantling, inspecting, cleaning, replacing worn parts and testing the component – before reassembling it and sending it back “as good as new”.
Visual inspection and check of key components such as shafts, seals and couplings. Possible oil analysis provides insight into wear and contamination.
The components are disassembled and each part is inspected for wear, deformation and damage. We assess what can be repaired and what needs to be replaced.
All parts are thoroughly cleaned of oil, dirt, rust and deposits – including internal channels and surfaces.
Servi received 48 Poclain cam engines that had been scrapped by a third party. After thorough review, repair and testing, they are now “good as new” – ready for many new operating hours.
We replace springs, seals, bearings and other worn parts. Where appropriate, we use machining and part regeneration.
The components are assembled with precision, followed by final inspection and documentation.
