Replacement and renovation of the rolling mill line at Karmøy

- We had three weeks to replace machinery at the rolling mill. Several companies worked together to accomplish this. Servi Group delivered as expected1. We have already ordered Servi Group to assist with a new extensive job next year, says Simon G. Langåker, project manager for Speira, Karmøy

Servi's job was to replacing all hydraulic pipes and hoses, as well as connect a new line and two new hydraulic blocks (designed in Ski and produced in Kongsberg). To achieve this, up to 40 people from Servi were involved from our offices in Rogaland, Trondheim, and Bergen

- At Karmøy, we were 10 people from Servi who performed the job. With all tasks that needed to be done - such as digging, chiseling, cementing, welding, and millimeter precision - the job went smoothly, says Kenneth Søndervik, who managed the project from Servi Group's side, adding that the key to success was good cooperation with all involved and a good dialogue with Speira along the way.
